MechPlane uses simple, visible models to help users decide what to investigate next. A calculation without conditions is not a conclusion.

Frame the decision

Define the component or process question, target outcome, operating conditions, and the constraint that makes the decision consequential.

Model what is known

Use a stated deterministic relationship, consistent units, and inputs whose source is visible. A missing variable remains missing.

Screen the simple case

Identify whether the model can answer the question under its own assumptions. If it cannot, the result explains why rather than presenting false precision.

Compare real alternatives

Show the values and constraints that change an outcome between viable options. The goal is not to invent a universal optimum.

Verify the next claim

Point to the appropriate manufacturer data, drawing review, test, standards reference, or qualified engineering review before a decision is treated as final.
